kijjohnson, the SF reading meme:
( The supposed cream of the science fiction crop )
There's clearly a giant Phillip K. Dick -shaped hole in my reading experience, but the man's writing style just doesn't engage me. My personal SF list would have more Heinlein, certainly; and why two Cherryhs when you could have read Bujold? And why is Lewis Carroll on the SF list anyway?
On an unrelated note, the Hierarchy of Japanese people is utterly hilarious. It's a wonderful treatment of relative pathetic nerdiness. Thanks be to [insert deity of choice here] that I only ended up about four steps down, in two separate columns; any further, and I would have started feeling shame.
