bean there, done that
Jul. 31st, 2008 10:01 amApparently our CSA is very bean-centric; we've been getting a pound of green and yellow beans a week. (We also get peaches, corn, tomatoes, etc; it's the beans I'm having trouble with.) I've about exhausted my bean repertoire, and I'm tired of having them the same ways over and over again. Can anyone recommend some other bean recipes?
For the record, this is how we've been eating the green beans:
- stir-fried with sesame oil, soy sauce, hoisin, and garlic
- sauteed with olive oil, garlic, and onion
- blanched and tossed with oil, salt, and pepper
- raw and crunchy, as a snack
