I didn't catch it on TV when it aired either... pseudotheist and paleotheist lent me the DVDs. They're great.

I think I saw maybe two episodes, then it was gone. It was just enough that when I saw the Serenity preview in the theaters, the setup seemed suspiciously familiar but I couldn't quite place where I'd heard it before. I may have to hunt for the DVDs myself... I hear the set includes some episodes that were never aired.
