movie?

I'll probably try to see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle on Sunday. Apparently it's an offbeat silly indie film, and I've been hearing really good reviews of it.

(So White Castle is... a localized burger chain? or something? I think I've been hearing about it recently too.)

Anyone want to come with, you know where to find me.

White Castle seems to be local(ish) to New York/Jersey; at least everyone I know who has actually eaten at one is from thereabouts. Evidently, one typically orders three to five burgers, since they're tiny... but perhaps things have changed....

Aha, the tiny burger place. I knew I'd heard of it before. Neat concept. The food sounded very, um, cute.

I went to see this with my Bengali friend Jen. We felt conspicuous. At least I did...

The movie wasn't really my thing, too slapstick, and a mostly cliched yet not believable film with a huge amount of stereotyping. Perhaps it's a superficial film on the surface that really intricately dissects our social conscience, and I'm just missing it.

I highly recommend Garden State. And I've eaten at a WhiteCastle before, those were _the_ best burgers I've ever had, hands down. They were awesome.
