time to stock up the kleenex again

The first indication that I have a cold isn't always a runny nose. Sometimes it's the fact that I suddenly find it more comfortable to sing with the men than the women as I'm driving into work. Those really deep notes are fun to hit, when my throat is configured to hit them properly.

It's not as if the woman singer has any sort of high voice either; she's quite comfortably in the middle of my usual range. The CD in the player this morning was by Tinsmith, a local Irish/folk band introduced to me by bkleber. Good stuff.

*chuckle* Brooke of Tinsmith fame is a dear friend of mine. Let me know if you would like to go see them live. I'm very sure I can get us tickets.

oh, that would be fantastic. I'll definitely take you up on that! They're already energetic on the CD, I imagine they would be awesome live.
